39th District is a commercial district in NW Oklahoma City that encompasses the area around 39th Street west of Pennsylvania to Youngs.

In the 1920s, 39th was part of the Mother Road known as Route 66 and became a well visited tourist stop. In the 1970s, 39th became known as The Strip which it is still affectionately known. 

Now it is home to 45 locally owned business and diverse mix of customers in Oklahoma City and the largest privately owned festival in the state with the annual OKC Pride Festival.

In the 1920s, 39th Street was a part of the historic Route 66 and became a well-visited tourist stop. In the 1970s, 39th Street became known as "The Strip" and has held onto that nickname.  

Now, it is home to 45 locally-owned businesses, some of the city's best entertainment, and a beautifully diverse mix of customers in Oklahoma City. It is also home to the annual OKC Pride Festival, the largest privately owned festival in the state.
